CONCEPT:

In a disaster situation, the first priority is finding and aiding people in need.

LSSE is a small device that is delivered to the survivor at the beginning of the rescue process.

LSSE opens audio and video communication between rescue workers and people who are struggling to survive the situation.

By giving them a lifeline to the rescue team and to the world outside, LSSE empowers the survivor.

They get the feeling that everything is going to be okay.

With a detailed overview of the situation at hand, the rescue team can reach out to many survivors, quickly communicating between them.

Additional support material is stored on LSSE to help keep the survivors comfortable and calm while the rescue workers are focused on other tasks.

Individual units can be linked, and moral support can be delivered between survivors and others nearby.

LSSE helped the rescue team coordinate and support, and made a traumatic situation easier for someone to endure.

FEATURES:

Rescue Operators can monitor the status of multiple units, open communication between them, and view their locations on a map.

PRESS TO TALK:

Communication is achieved between the Rescue Team and a survivor by pressing and sliding the TALK button. The survivor has visual contact with the Rescue Operator.

CAMERA SCREEN CAPTURE:

The Rescue Operator can capture and save photos. This is important in evaluating the health status of the survivor. The photos can be forwarded to Doctors and preparations can be made to provide optimal medical care for them after the rescue.

INFRARED :

An infrared mode allows the Rescue Operator to see details about the situation that may be important in coordinating the rescue mission.

CONNECT, LINK, SUPPORT:

LSSE’s Support Mode provides instructions that help the survivor remain calm and take their mind off of the situation.

LINK UNITS:

Multiple units can be linked. LSSE can be distributed to family and friends of the survivor. This moral support is vital to help them keep a positive attitude and minimize psychological stress. Additionally, survivors can be connected and can offer support to each other. Being in the same situation, they can empathise and support each other in ways that people on the outside cannot.
